- Why the name Cambrian Management? Cambrian is from the root of the word Cambria. This is the name the Romans gave the region which is Wales today. The rocks in the region were named by the Reverend Adam Sedgewick in 1835. It is this geologic period in which shellfish like the trilobites first appeared.
- Also, Cambriar, the root word for Cambrian in Spanish, is a command meaning "to change". At Cambrian, we view our operation as a fundamental change in oil and gas property management to capture maximum efficiency as a low overhead, cost effective producer in the mature domestic U.S. basins.
The Cambrian Strata is the foundation is which oil and gas rich sediments have been deposited. It is our goal at Cambrian Management to be the foundation for project management in the domestic U.S. Basins.
- Cambrian Management, Ltd was formed to provide world class oil and gas asset management for the domestic petroleum industry. We believe that the mature domestic basins are ready for outsourced project/asset management. There has been an exodus from the domestic oil and gas basins for over 15 years. As this departure continues, a market is developing for outsourcing. This outsourcing may or may not be total asset management and Cambrian Management will be very flexible in providing "fit for need" services to its clients. Cambrian Management can be your virtual oil company.
- Cambrian Management, Ltd currently operates over 300 wells in west Texas and Southeast New Mexico. In addition to property management Cambrian provides drilling project management. Cambrian is currently managing a 140 well drilling program for Huber Energy Panhandle L.P. in Webb County, Texas. Cambrian has also provided operations, reservoir, and drilling engineering services to several other clients.
- Cambrian Management, Ltd drilled 58 wells for various clients in South Texas, West Texas and Arizona in 2004. In 2005, Cambrian Management drilled 62 wells for various clients. We have approximately 76 drill wells projected for 2006. These projects range from single well to multiple well drilling programs. Cambrian Management will supply complete drilling management on the projects including permitting, engineering, design, materials and services acquisition, supervision, and accounting.
