Wolfberry Experience

The Wolfberry activity of the Permian Basin is a resource play that includes completion of tight pay zones in the Wolfcamp and Spraberry formations.  Operators have drilled through the Wolfcamp formation for decades searching for oil and gas in the Basin.  The Wolfcamp would often have good shows and even put oil on the drilling pits, however the zone has very low porosity and permeability.  Advances in fracture fluid technology and the development of composite plugs have made this play the hottest play in the Permian Basin.
